You can keep your gear organized and safe with a police rack. You can also easily access your gear when you need it. Whether you buy a police rack or build one yourself, there are some things that you need to keep in mind while setting it up.

The first step is to create a rack with two different bars – one on top and the other at the bottom. You can store your police gear on the bottom bar, from plate carriers to body armor and firearms. If you are planning to wall mount it, make sure it isn’t within reach of your children. You might also start with a piece of plywood for the back if you are making it yourself. For extra space, you can add some premade shelves. Keeping more stuff safe and at a distance is this way is a good idea. You can hang keys, headwear, helmets, and other gear on the upper bar. If you don’t want to get a new rack, you can make one from old materials around your house.
